Calling all fans of Minnie Mouse ---   A couple new books are available for you to check out!   If you are planning a trip to Disney, this would be great to give them before you go... Perfect for reading in the car or on a plane! Although these books have Minnie Mouse as the main character, Broxton still enjoyed reading and seeing the adventures Minnie went on!!! Minnie's Summer Vacation   has us with Minnie and the gang as they set out to find something to do.  Each character wants to do something different - from swimming to hiking, swimming to fishing... and all Minnie wants to do is take pictures!  Will they be able to find a way for them all to enjoy their day?? Thinking Thursdays

Okay, so I used to do "Aloha Friday" but it seems that it has died down... I have random questions of things that run through my head and I am going to start asking a question each week...  Would love to hear your answers!!!!!   I would also love for you to join in with me... Ask a Question of your own - either here in the comments or on your blog (leave me a link so I can visit and answer)  If it seems that a couple of you start doing this with me, I will totally put up a linky, but for now, I just want to know your thoughts... Today's Question- Do you acknowledge the RSVP on invitations? My answer- I ALWAYS acknowledge them... From weddings to birthdays and anything else... I find it rude not to do so.  Especially when they made the point to include it.  Some say" regrets only" but if they are asking for an RSVP, why not take the time to say yes or no...   I know that I put it on Broxton's invitations... since I needed to know how many kids to

I used to love it and I would really enjoy reading it.  I remember in school we had to recite poems from time to time... and one that always stuck out to me?? Annabel Lee by Edgar Allan Poe.  That was the poem I chose to recite - in front of the student body ... and I still remember parts of it. Well, Sterling Publishing has done it again... They have released a series of Poetry for Young People... and are actually reissuing three of the books the first Tuesday in August... That means I get to share with you these books.. and you can plan on ordering them to add to your library... or better yet, you can donate them to a library near you!

He wanted to be barefoot and we normally just let him...  As he started trying to walk, we would put shoes on him, but again, they find a way to come off (thanks to a very persistent little boy!)   As he got older ... and I got a bit "wiser" in parenting, I learned of a great product.   Robeez Shoes !!  I heard that letting him go barefoot would be best, but lets get real... I did not want my baby crawling around / trying to walk outside without shoes on...  Especially since once he found his feet, he loved to have them in his mouth!!!!   Robeez is the best way to let the feet move and grow -- feeling like they are barefoot, while actually

School is about to start here and that means I am already trying to figure out lunch ideas... and after-school snacks for us.  It was hard last year, as he gets in his mind he will only eat certain things at home (one was sandwiches) and it makes sending lunch a challenge...   I will say that I am lucky that he loves his fruits and veggies, so when I heard that Libby had small containers of fruits and vegetables, I was excited to check it out... He is a fan of peas and corn, so I do see them being in the lunch bag off and on throughout the year!!!   We were sent a couple different products from Libby to try and I was just as excited to try them out as he was!  There are times when I really want a vegetable a

Most people reach for any beverage to try and quench their thirst... I know in our house, water is normally a last option and that it shameful to say...  I know we all want to drink something that tastes great... but how about making it great for us too???   Well, we were recently sent a few drinks to try out and I was impressed at how great they taste!   Are you familiar with bai5 ?
