Lips were sealed until it was released. Well, it was released yesterday... SO I can tell you all about it!!!!! We had been watching the trailer before we left to go see it and Broxton and I were loving the part where Olaf (the snowman) says "Do me a favor....  Grab my butt."  Once we were seated,  the 2 kids next to us struck up a conversation with Broxton and all 3 of them loved that part and the one where Olaf is talking about his "ittle bitty nose" Of course, as soon as it happened in the movi

Green Apple Entertainment will be releasing "A Christmas Tree Miracle" on DVD and Video on Demand December 3rd, 2013. We were sent an advance copy for review and I was excited to see the movie... (I love Christmas movies!!!) When the movie started, I will admit that I was a bit put off by the acting... It seemed as though it could have been better, but as the story unfolded, I realized that I was paying no attention to the acting and was following the story...  and I am so glad I did!!!! ( I did fall in love with the little girl that played Nina... I see her going places...  She just made you feel the part!) A Christmas Tree Miracle is about a family that seems self

First Time for Smores!

Image
Some time during the summer, Broxton started mentioning that he wanted us to camp out... He kept talking about wanting Smores and to sleep outside.  You know, living in an apartment for so long, we never had the opportunities to do things like that in our own back yard...   Now, we can. Marc told Broxton that once it started to get colder, he would plan for a fun night outside. Luckily for us, we have a fenced in back yard, so it was easy to plan! The best part?  It was spur of the moment and it was a night full of memories!!!  Up first, Broxton had to help daddy gather up fire wood to make a mini bon-fire in the back yard:  Once the wood was gathered, Marc made a small fire for Broxton to roast marshmallows!!!  Broxton was so excited!  We put down a picnic blanket and got the ingredients for the smores ready!  Broxton was so excited to watch the marshmallow roast...   He wanted the whole thing charred.. not a spot of white on there... So, he kept working on his...

While at Americas Mart, I was able to be totally impressed by a company that goes above and beyond with personalized gifts.  Paparte was the name of the company and I am so glad that I stepped off that escalator and met Joe!   Paparte has a little bit of this and a whole lot of that.   Paparte is your personalized gifts headquarters! Now, the think is, you can not just go on their website and order items...  You can request to learn more about where to shop and purchase their items, so head on over to see how to get something... But here is the thing... With most personalized items, you really do not get to totally personalize it.  Normally, you have the print already selected, then you get to pick the f

Yesterday, I told you a little (okay, maybe a lot) about my trip to Emory Point and all the cool shops they have there...   I wanted to finish telling you about it, but I did not want to overload you with all the information in one post...   I ask you to go and read my first emory point post, if you missed it...  Then, come on back to today!!! After we left Fab'rik, we continued on with our tour and at some point, we found ourselves at Tin Lizzy's .  Now this place was pretty cool.  I believe they called it "Tex-Mex"  I will say, this is when I decided that I do NOTHING anymore... I always hear people talking about Tin Lizzy's... but I had never been there... Well, you can mark that of

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. This past Easter, we were lucky enough to review the Hide and Hatch Em Easter Eggs ...  Well how lucky are we that they reached out to see if we wanted to check out the Hang'em and Hatch'em Christmas Eggs?!  These eggs come in 3 different designs per box:  Red, Green and then a White with Gold Flecks!   The eggs are made with a loop on them so that you can hang them on your Christmas Tree... or you can be like us and decide that the temptation to see what is inside is a bit too much and go ahead and get them to hatch!!!  See, Broxton is ready to go!!!!  We added each egg to a clear cup (doesn't need to be a clear cup, but he wanted to be able to watch to see when they would start hatching!) If you follow me on Instagram, you saw that a few of us local Atlanta bloggers had the chance to have a meet up a few days ago... We were headed to take a tour of Emory Point. While there, I determined that I do not get out that much anymore, as many places were new to me...I had heard of some, but had been to none.   Today, I am going to tell you about some of the places we got to learn about.  Fa First up, let me tell you a little about Emory Point.   I will admit, having lived in Atlanta for over 15 years, I am not one to really travel around Atlanta.  I know my surrounding area and can use GPS to get me places, but as far as knowing all the hidden gems Atlanta has to offer, I am still learning...  and to m
