We were sent a new book to check out...   Meet the Dooples by Dr. Lynn Hunter .   This is the first book and we get to know the main characters that we will be reading about in other books...   In Meet the Dooples, we meet Mr. Dooba Dee Doo.  He is a wise old thing that helps bring the dooples to life...  There just seem to be a couple rules...  Have fun exploring, learning and meeting new places and things...  BUT, they can only come out at night and have to be put back at the end of the day!!! The characters are too cute...  We have Inky, Racer, Marky and others...  Each one leaves their own creativity behind from the pencil sketches that Sketchy leaves to the marks on the box l

Being a mom, I love going with names that are from my childhood...  That would include the name Crayola .   I grew up with crayola crayons... and now Broxton is as well!! As I mentioned, I had a great time at the AmericasMart Market ...  I learned about so many products and I am so glad to get to share some of my findings with you!!! One that I learned of? The Chilly Pad.   I will tell you now, I have seen this in different stores and I have thought about buying it.. But something kept telling me not to ...  Then, my mom had a wise idea about a product she wanted to help her stay cool when she sleeps... so, I bought it for her as a mothers day gift and nope... It did not work...  So, I was not about to strike out again with another cooling product that was just a joke...  (This is now 2 products for my mom that didn't work... Was this going to be number 3? )

As a blogger, I get all sorts of emails...  Some are informative, some are spam...  Some end up on here and others in the trash!!! I kept hearing about " AmericasMart " and you know me... I had to look into it and see what I could find out..  In my own thoughts and opinions: Americas Mart is THE place to be to show your product / company.   It is a select Market that buyers go to see the great products available and I am telling you...  I learned SO much about so many different companies / products..  I hope that you come back each day this week to see what I am sharing with you! I had a blast...  It was so much to take in.. but worth it!!! If you have product that you want to get

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. Oh My Goodness...   Do I have a product to tell you about...  Let me set it up first...  Marc has FREEZING cold feet at night...   BUT - he refuses to wear socks...   I don't know... he says they make his feet colder...    I don't get it... but it is his feet, so I just go with it...   Besides that, remember he works for the railroad... and is also National Guard.. meaning that he faces lots of different temperatures in his line of work...  Well, I was sent an email about Heat Holders and I wanted to try it out... They arrived and I was a bit skeptical...  They were like socks... but thick...   and the insides were super soft...  They might be thick... but would they be comfortable and work?

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. I will admit it... I totally judge books by their cover... I hate that about me, but it is true...  I received Princess Cupcake Jones and the Missing Tutu ... for review. I thought it was adorable and a great book for a little girl... (Told you, judging the cover..) So, then I read it...  It was ADORABLE!!!! Talk about loving a book!!! I finished reading it and Broxton finally decided to stroll over to see what I was doing and he quickly asked me what was going on in the book. I told him I would read it to him later, but it was a great book about a little Princess that did not do such a great job of cleaning up behind her...   and in the process, she lost her things.. but they were never LOST... they we

I know that and will admit it... but I do know when I have good food and that is what I want to tell you about today...    A while back, I learned of a new (to me) company... Sincerely Nuts...  Sincerely Nuts is all about nuts..  sort of like the Bubba Gump of nuts, if you will...  But they are so much more than that!   Nuts... Seeds...  Dried Fruit... Chocolate...  See what I mean? We were given the chance to review their pistachios... I am not sure what it is... I used to think that pistachios were nasty... (I had never even tried them at this point.)   Then,I tried one and fell in love...  Have you ever eaten one just to discover it was all nasty?  Yeah... no

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. I am not sure if I told you or not, but Broxton is taking Karate classes... He loves it and although he is the "baby" of the group, he tries to handle his own... The last time he had class, one of the "older kids"  (age 6)  made a comment about being 6 and having a phone to play on... he responded that he had a tablet.... Why am I telling you this?  Because this week, he felt that he needed to bring something "cool" in to show his classmates! You know what he took? Time for Kids - Dinosaurs 3D  - One of the latest books he has been reviewing!!! He was so excited! When the book first arrived, the two of us looked at it...  Then, he had Marc look at it with him... I wish I had been a

Opinions expressed are my own and are NOT influenced by monetary compensation. Although Broxton is not technically a "baby" anymore... He will ALWAYS be MY baby...  I know I am not the only mom that feels that way, right?! I have mentioned before that Broxton has eczema... Sometimes it is bad, sometimes you don't even know he has it... It just sort of comes and goes...  When it does flare up, I try and treat his skin a little bit more delicate than other times (gosh, that doesn't sound so good... but I mean I lotion him up more... we are more watchful in the tub.. things like that.. It does NOT mean I am negligent... just more conscientious... ) Anyways...  One thing I do love is taking care of his skin and keeping it as "baby soft" as long as possible. When I he
