Parents Palooza - WoW - Just WoW!!!!!

Okay, so I blogged about Parents Palooza and even gave away tickets for lucky readers to go...
Then, I reminded you that it was this weekend...
In case you are IN or NEAR Atlanta tomorrow...
(Feb 27th)
I am telling you again...
You have got to make a point to go!
We had so much fun!

Of course, I did not know where to go ...
(for the meet the bloggers)
So, we went early..
I was the blogger for 11 am, so yep...
First time for everything, I got there around 10:15 ish...
We found where we were supposed to be and then it was just pure torture for Broxton..
He wanted to go play and I would not let him... YET!

At 11:45 ish, we headed out to explore!
So much to see and do, where do we start?!
We kind of skimmed over everything while we waited on our friends to come...
Once they were here, it was over!

Comcast was there doing ID kits for your kids...
Thanks Nancy Grace!
They took their picture and fingerprint...
You get a copy, but it is stored in case heaven forbid, something happens...
It can be automatically sent out to FBI and what not to aid in the quick help of information!
It also doesn't help that Scooby-Doo was there to take pictures with the kids while they wait!
Over on one side, we got to meet Laughing Pizza!
Yes! They had their van there and everything...
You can get your picture with them (Broxton was FINALLY napping, so I just got them)
Buy their Cd's and DVDs while you are there too!
I joked with Emily that we had to be related...
Look at the red hair!
Their clothes are funky and fresh, just like they are and they were so nice!
You can even get an autographed poster from them!
(Mental note, I need to get one of their DVDs!)
Oh, you know Slangman from PBS?
He was there...
We got to meet him...
He also has different shows going on throughout the day to get the kids going...
Broxton went over to dance with Aunt Jen, but that didn't last long enough for a picture, he was a man on the move!

They offer free daycare (up to an hour) but you can also just take your little one over to play...
Broxton really enjoyed it, so it was nice to see the Discovery Toys booth!
(I might just become a rep for that.. more to follow on that soon!)

Soldiers Angels was there manning a booth.
You were free to stop and sign a card for them to send to soldiers...
Or your kids could color a picture...
Or you could do both...
As a very PROUD member of Soldiers Angels, I was happy to see them there.
Feel free to join Soldiers Angels or just click to donate...

We even got to meet a Knight and The Princess from Medieval Times..
If you have never been, I highly recommend it!
We took the boys before, but I think Broxton is getting at the age that he will love it!
You can also sign up to win a dinner!
Who doesn't like the chance to WIN?!

You know all those cute shuttles and kid houses that you see all over the blogs?
The ones where you color it yourself?
Well, they were there giving out smaller ones!
HOW FUN!
At this time, Broxton is using it to play with his cars...
We will decorate it and all that good stuff later!
Besides that, they had speakers going on all day long.
When you first enter, you are given a raffle ticket that you fill out and place in the appropriate bin for your choice of giveaway to enter...
(Great prize packs too!)

Then, you have at it!
Tupperware was there showcasing all their products.
You can also sign up to host a Tupperware party!
They had Scentsy Agents as well as Thirty One Gifts..
Miche Bags and The Picture People!
Obviously more than that are there, I am just on overload right now!

My friend, Jen, and I really liked that they had safety people there...
You can have them come out to your house to check for making it safe for your little ones.
They area also certified to check your car seat...
(We all know about my issues with that!)

They have face painting for the kids...
You can get their hair done! LOL
Even Atlanta Parents Magazine is there...

Oh and most tables have a prize wheel...
Spin it for everything from a free "tattoo" to a t-shirt...
Some give gift certificates to their company..

New Balance was there...
You can enter to win a free pair!
(Grab a coupon for $10 off a purchase too!)
They have reps from a Chiropractic Firm to discuss your situation...
You can even get an analysis on your posture..
(I turned that down, don't even want to know how bad it is... Let me work on it first!)

Literally, they have it all..
From being pregnant to newborns..
Cookies to help you lactate?
All the way to Preschool and College...
Every parent can find something to interest them.
Oh, and if your hubby doesn't think it sounds fun...
Put him in the "game truck" while you go exploring!
(Yes, a truck with TVs and what not filled with gaming systems!)
Didn't I tell you they have it all?

I think we might have to go back tomorrow..
We did not make it over to the Circus School area!
Now that I think about it, we didn't make it over to Radio Disney either!

Last thing...
You know those "cuties" they keep advertising?
The cute little oranges?
You guessed it!
They have them there...
LOVE them so much, Broxton had to eat three!

After all of that fun, Broxton had enough and crashed...
But still, that just meant cute picture for me!

Thanks Stacy for a great day!

In honor of this great event, I will be hosting a giveaway for a KidSwitch...
This will be posted this week!

***** I was given complimentary tickets for hosting the review / giveaway on my blog. No other compensation was given and I was not required to post this review today... I just had SO MUCH FUN, I wanted to share!)*****

  1. What a fantastic day you had! I love your recap and I LOVE Soldiers Angels, too - I am also a member. Broxton looks adorable sleeping after his wonderful day... I too like those mini oranges, I just ate one myself.
I am so glad that you got to go to this event and hope you get to go to another one soon... you SO deserve it!
