Have you ever been to Alpharetta, Georgia? To be honest, we used to go there all the time... Then when my brother got married, we got to really check out Avalon - Alpharetta ... and let me just tell you, it is a whole different world there!  (MAJOR COMPLIMENT, so don't read more into it!)  The kids love going to Alpharetta, so you best believe we stay in that area when we get the chance.  I love to read!  I took a break from reading - because every time I tried to read, one of the kids would want me to read to them... and I was NOT about to turn that down.  Well, now they are both old enough to read on their own and that has opened the door for me to enjoy reading again.  I have had a chance to read several different books lately, but one of the latest I have finished was:  The Brightest Light of Sunshine by Lisina Coney.  I really enjoyed this book.  It was a quick read and a happy read!  I actually asked a coworker if she wanted to read it (Normally takes her a while to get into a book, but she read it rather quickly and it is being passed around the office now!)  If you are looking for a book to curl up and enjoy, I would say to check this one out!!!   FTC Compliant Review Policy:    The product(s) featured in this review were provided free of cost to me by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for the sole purpose of product testing.  As 2023 comes to a close, I really wanted to talk about one of my most favorite subscription boxes.  I have to admit, as a mom, I tend to spend all of my money on my kids... and other loved ones... and rarely on me.  Every now and then I take a chance and order a subscription box for myself.  It ends up being a fun treat, since I don't know what is in there and it is like little surprises for me!   To be honest, several of them were major let downs. I am sorry, but just because I am a female, it does NOT mean I want a box full of makeup / pamper items... We were recently invited to visit Synchronicity Theatre to see their production of THE LITTLE PRINCE.  If you follow my blog, you know that Savannah LOVES this movie.  We have the movie, we have the book...we even have a couple of the figurines from the story. That being said, I knew it was a no brainer that I would be taking her to the show, if at all possible!  Synchronicity Theatre was new to us, as we had never visited it and did not know anything about it... But, it was easy to get to!  We grabbed a spot in the parking deck ( take your ticket, so you can get parking validated) and then we were on our way!!!!
